Duties and Responsibilities:
Document Management (Medical Records)
*New Position* (9/13/17)
The medical records department is responsible for the maintenance of all medical records.
The medical department's main purpose is as follows:
1. Maintains medical records system that permits prompt retrieval of patient information.
2. Medical records are scanned accurately into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) according to the document type list, in a timely manner and readily accessible to the health care practitioner.
3. Medical records request are processed within 7-10 days business days. This includes printing out a chart summary, office visits, labs, x-rays, mammograms, paps, flow sheet & immunizations.
4. Medical records request from lawyers or bureau of disability (SSI) are mailed with an invoice.
5. Patient medical request for personal user are charged per invoice chart sheet. (charged by pages copied)
6. Medical Records department will verify that all medical record request are signed, dated they are signed.
7. All Medical Record request are signed off by the patient's physician.
8. The Medical Record clerk will scan original request into patients chart via the EMR
9.All Medical Record request must be completed within two weeks of receipt. All Medical record request must be HIPPA compliant.
10. The electronic medical record (EMR) is accessible to physicians 24 hours a day.
11. The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds push, pull, or carry objects.
12. He or she will also ensure medical records are maintained in a manner compliant with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements of the medical services system.

Office Manager (East End Health Center)
Reports to Medical Administrator
Supervise administrative staff and all day-to-day office functions, including front desk, accounting insurance processing, appointment setting, procedure scheduling, medical records and more. Maintain a smooth, efficient flow of administrative operations, ensuring that patients are served as efficiently and effectively as possible. Recruit, screen, and hire and train administrative employees. Ensure patients inquiries and complaints are handled in an appropriate timely and satisfactory manner.
Knowledge, Education, Skills and Abilities:
Reports to Dental Director and supervises Dental Assistants, and Dental Hygienist
Responsibilities Diagnoses and treats diseases injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums, and related oral structures. Examines patient to determine nature OD condition, utilizing x-rays, mouth mirrors, explorers, and other diagnostic procedures and instruments. Cleans, fills extracts, and replaces teeth using rotary and hand instruments, dental appliances medications, and surgical implements. Demonstrates proficiency in examination, diagnosis, and treatment, of oral pathological in examination.
The purpose of the pharmacy technician is to assist the pharmacist with the day-to-day activities in the pharmacy.
The Nurse Manager is responsible to direct and coordinates team activity toward patient centered care. Supervises, assigns, and coordinates actvities of nursing and medical assistant personnel in the designated health center (satellite) to ensure patient needs and quality of care are met in accordance with instruction of physician administrative policies and procedures. This position supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Medical Assistants, Receptionist and Maintenance.
The Dental Assistant is responsible for assisting dentist(s) by engaging routinely procedures during examinations and treatment of patients. The Dental Assistant reports to Dental Director and Staff Dentist. This position performs technical supportive functions including preparing and dismissing patients; sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment; providing post-operative instructions prescribed by dentist(s). Assists dentist(s) in management of medical and dental emergencies. Demonstrates good guest relations, oral communication, and human relation skills when interacting with patients and their families. Provides oral hygiene instruction, such as conducing plaque control program.
Qualifications: MUST BE Certified Radiologic Technician
Requirements: Performs basic business office procedures, includes maintaining appointment control, answering telephone properly, reassuring patients, participates in departmental meetings, and professional development activities. Able to work within a multi-disciplinary team approach for the benefit of the organization.
Meaningful Use and EMR Manager
The Meaningful Use/EMR (Electronic Medical Records) Manager is an essential part of the medical and administrative operations to PCHS. This position involves coordination of activities related to the implementation of the Centers for Medicare ans Medicaid Services (CMS and State of PA) and State of PA EHR (Electronic Health Records) Incentive Payment Program for the entire organization. Essential EMR tasks include, ePrescribe management and Secure Messaging Management.
Requirements: Establish and maintain structured processes (including software programs and tools) to complete registration, attestation and payment information for each eligible provider. Meet with providers, managers, clinical staff to help achieve program goals. Work in collaboration with management to monitor Provider compliance and facilitate resolution of barriers of successful completion of attestations.
We are looking for a professional Nurse Practitioner who can deliver primary medical care to a wide variety of patients. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for caring for patients, maintaining accurate and current patient records and scheduling and administering follow-up appointments to patients as required.
Requirements: Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions, must be familiar with the EHR medical charting system.
Medical Assistant (MA)
Assist in the operation of the medical services during assigned clinic sessions. Within the framework of the organization’s philosophy and objectives and under the direction of the nurse manager, the Medical Assistant assists the nursing team in performing routine nursing duties associated with caring for the ambulatory patient.
Requirements: Requires excellent interpersonal, telephone, and communication skills. Be able to work on other units and at other health centers throughout the Primary Care Health Services network.
