Preparing for Childbirth

With a goal of reducing infant mortality, PCHS’s childbirth program pairs expectant mothers with a nurse and a social worker, who:

  • answer questions
  • help identify and obtain health related resources for expectant mothers and their families
  • serve as advocates for expectant mothers

 

Did you know?

  • PCHS Social Services Offers childbirth classes where participants can earn points for gifts by participating in healthy activities.

  • A licensed social worker is available to help patients apply for PA Medicaid or to help connect patients to needed resources and services.
