Primary Care Health Services provides application intake services for Dollar Energy grants.  These are one-time grants that can be applied to a household’s natural gas or electricity bill.

Intake services are provided at PCHS’s Alma Illery and Hill House locations.  Calling ahead to set up an appointment with the intake counselor is recommended.  Applicants need not be PCHS patients. 

To apply for a grant, the outstanding bill must total less than $500.

Applicants need to bring with them to the appointment:

• the social security numbers of each household member
• proof of household income
• a copy of the outstanding bill
• good-faith proof of having paid at least $150 within the last 90 days
• security and reconnection fee receipts if service has been turned off
